Hope this is finally the correct address!!! So here goes....
Hi Gerard,
Yes, it's me and I'm still alive.
I writing to let you know that I am kick-starting the Paper
Penguin project again and I hope it will be bigger and better
than before.
If you still have Penne, then that's great. But don't worry
if you don't. After all these years I expect Penne to have left
home by now.
If you do still have Penne could you update me of ther location
and situation. If not then maybe a little information of what
you think 'may have happened to her'! All the information I
will put on the new look website at www.paperpenguins.co.uk.
I hope you are well and I look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers

Hi Guy,
It is so nice to hear from you again.
In my memory I have tried to contact you a long time ago when
my book
was published in 2003.
Its title (in English): concise Rotterdam Penguin Encyclopia.
Penny is in it of course.
If I remember right I tried to get a mailing address so I could
mail the book to you; but I think that failed and I am afrain
the book never reached you. Is that so? If so, there’s
still a book waiting to be sent to you. The last copy.
3000 were printed and the book is all sold out.
My dream was to make an English version (e.g. Penguin’s
Concise Penguin Encyclopedia); still a dream.
Penny still lives even though age begins to tell; its skin
is starting to peel off.
Life has been quiet for Penne though.
Your mail may send her on new adventures though.
Attached are two recent pictures (one hour ago actually).
All the best,
As soon as Penne has been adventurous again I’ll let
you know!
All the best,
Gerard Peet

Hi Gerard,
Great to hear from you after all this time.
Good to see the old girl is still alive and well. Just patch
her up with Selotape - that should do the trick!
Yes, you did send me a copy of your book. In fact I was looking
at it yesterday, though I couldn't understand it! Thank you
very much.
Also shocking to know that your little girls are no longer 'little
girls'. God, that makes me feel old!
I've updated the website with the new images and information
and shall look forward to the 'further adventures of Penne'.
Best wishes to you and Angelique and, of course, the 'little
girls'

RE: Paper Penguin Project Penne in Amsterdam |

Hi Guy,
In celebration of Penne’s new lease of web-life I have
taken her on a trip to Amsterdam yesterday where Angélique’s
jazz-orchestra (XLJazz) had a concert in the BIM-Huis. Penne
tried to get a place in the band but had missed too many rehearsals.
She had to endure the concert from the audience.
All the best,
Gerard
